![]() If nothing else, the early-to-mid 2000s were a great time for computer\video games. Video games? Same way, just invest in a GameCube or even a Wii. Aside from YoGos, which I don't remember having, though I remember having them in the pantry, all the foods I ate as a kid are still available, and all the TV shows and movies I liked doubly so. The 2000s were the second period of the Information Era, making things from that time a lot easier to track down. Look at music, it's changing every day, and very few artists are ever happy with one sound.Īs weird as this sounds, I dunno how much I wanna buy into nostalgia (that is, new versions of what I used to have). The MCU and Star Wars series are fine, but I don't want talented people in these industries continuing to tread trodden trails all the time. And that reads like it's just for television, I'm speaking about everything. I'd rather watch something original and support the creator rather than keep begging them for a continuation when that may not be what they wanna do. I just don't know if I'd be down for new versions of, say, Foster's or El Tigre if nothing of value can be brought up that makes such works worth reviving.
